Cuba Cultural Exploration

December 6 -14, 2016

Do you want to see a country that is in every way set apart from any other?

Travel with Con Mucho Gusto through Collette’s Rediscover Cuba Cultural Exploration program departing Dec 6-14, 2016, to this enchanting island of diverse and fascinating people, complex history and politics.

From Hemingway’s haunts to the Bay of Pigs. We’ll visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral of Havana and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. There are so many places to explore and experience. According to local lore, a true Hemingway drinking experience is in Havana at a bar called Floridita. According to local lore, it was here that the daiquiri was invented. There is a life-size bronze statue of Hemingway at the end of the bar where many have come to join him for a drink. If the chair next to him is available, you can have bragging rights that you joined him for a drink!

Don’t miss an experience at La Fabrica, it rocks all night. The long-forbidden Cuban cigars still remain forbidden in limited quantities as an import to the U.S. For more information contact Barbara Rivera, Con Mucho Gusto Travel at 505.670.1265 or barb@conmuchogustotravel.com.
